I’m looking for a people who would like to be considered discussion leaders at The Social Media Jungle: Leveraging Social Media for YOU (and your business), taking place on November 13th in Melville, New York.
In the few weeks since I decided to host an event, the landscape has changed.
Friends are now worried about losing their marketing budgets for next year, others are worried about their jobs. The effects of the economy are weighing in on just about everyone.
So I decided to re-cast what I was originally planning and instead have a day which will focus on how social media will change the way we work and live. Some of the thoughts include: “How social media will disrupt our workplace by empowering companies to LOWER their burn rate”, as well as a discussion on how to be the consummate online networker (as well as in the real world), so friends can get ahead of the curve should things continue to go south.
If this is a topic area that you find yourself passionate about, please contact me. As far as the specific topics to be discussed, I’m open to ideas and suggestions. I’m looking to confirm most of the speakers over the next few days and then open up registration for the first 50-75 people who would like to spend the day exploring these topics.
Part of the day will be broadcast live from inside the pulverTV studios. Im also looking for people to volunteer to help produce, direct and host some of the live segments.
